about fisheye

Original and useful.
Welcome to fisheye design

A photographer’s fisheye lens captures a wider than normal view. In the same way, we look at the broader possibilities within your brief to create something fresh and original.

Over the past 10 years, we’ve worked in partnership with book publishers throughout Australia and New Zealand, as well as other studios and businesses, to create designs that engage and attract their target audience.

Our focus is always on useful design that is both effective and stimulating.

You may have seen our work on book covers, in museums and libraries, in print advertising and even on stage sets.  We especially enjoy designing for the youth market, where we get the chance to really stretch our skills in order to appeal to this visually literate and often highly sceptical group.

What makes us different?

  • Specialists in illustration, we take an organic approach to the initial design stages and often sketch by hand before applying our ideas to software.
  • With so many book designs under our belt, we understand the importance of seamlessly integrating text with images, and how fast a book cover needs to work to achieve that initial impact on the viewer.
  • Finally, as a small design studio, we’re always focused on your needs and provide a highly personal service.
